You must be a current full financial member of an affiliated local association and also meet the additional residency / citizenship requirements as listed below. “Players shall only be entitled to play in the Island Championship of the Island of their place of permanent residence.” “Entrants in the NORTH or SOUTH ISLAND Billiards and / or Snooker Championships must be (a) a NZ Citizen, or (b) have lived for a period of 3 years in NZ and be the holder of Permanent NZ residency, or (c) if a holder of dual citizenship must not have represented another Country at Billiards or Snooker for a period of not less than 3 years. A players eligibility status may be modified by the New Zealand Billiards & Snooker Association Inc. Board, if it believes there is grounds to support such an application made to the NZBSA.
